Friends Only Invite

Nick, Brayden, Dustin are I are hosting a little NYE party again this year at our house.
We don’t want this to be too too much of a rager, but we’re getting a couple of kegs. It’s $10 if you want to drink from the kegs, byob otherwise.

If you’re on my friends list you’re invited, but if we haven’t met in real life already please don’t bring a crew of 5 or 6 people. You may bring a guest, but please make sure they’re not a fuckhead who’s going to trash our house more than it already is.

I took the last picture on my way home from the LCBO today. As I was putting my camera down this drunk guy in his 40′s or 50′s walked up to me and asked with a blank face if he could have one of my beers for Christmas.

VICE’s Sushi Christmas Party (Hip-Hop Man)

We had our actual staff dinner last night. We did a Secret Santa gift exchange. Shawn got Raf a Nascar coffee maker, Jacob received a Hip-hop Man dancing and singing doll, I gave Shawn $20, and Ryan got a bowl of dicks.

Brian gave me a weed change purse and a bunch of weird comic books, and Ryan got Brian a pack of smokes. Everyone’s gifts were pretty on target.


Shawn leaned out of the group photo at the last second.

There was no music in the place so Brian turned his cell phone mp3 player on and put it in the middle of the table. We were pretty loud and obnoxious but we were ordering enough food and drinks that we could do whatever we wanted.

Deirdre gave me this photo for Christmas. I stopped giving gifts a few years ago for the most part because I was sick of getting shit that I hated so I figured why try, but it seems like there a lot of people around me these days who know exactly what I like. It makes me feel understood and appreciated.

Bagel Etc… In MTL

This is the view from my hotel room this morning. I went to Bagels Etc for breakfast this morning. Erik told me yesterday that Leonard Cohen used to hang out there everyday. They had a little shrine to Leonard Cohen inside so I believe it. I didn’t ask the guy working the counter because I didn’t want to see too touristy. I love the first three Leonard Cohen albums. I give them all 10/10.
