It’s 5:30 am here, still in Liverpool. We spent the last couple of hours in a graveyard down the street from where we’ve been staying, playing songs on acoustic guitars to a bunch of teenagers ripped out of their minds on acid. They kept thanking us, saying it was the best night of their lives.
We headlined a Canadian Showcase last night with the Pack A.D., Forest City Lovers and Rich Aucoin. All the bands were great, but Rich’s show is one of the best things I’ve seen in awhile.
We head out in a few hours. Bye Liverpool, we love you!
Day 2 of 3 in Liverpool, Eamon headlines at the Masque Club tonight.
It’s day 2 of tour, we’re in Liverpool for the next 3 days playing the Liverpool Sound City Festival.
Last night was Nottingham, the home of Robin Hood! Eamon and Peter put together this video today for Eamon’s Exlaim blog, from footage I shot last night and from the van ride today.
I’m heading to Europe for 4 weeks next week, exactly coinciding with my EI claim ending. Perfect timing. Hire me to do stuff when I get back! I have many talents, resources and lots of experience in the field of making ideas happen in real life.
I’ve been inspired by this book New Glass by Otto B. Rigan, so I’m going to design and create some stained glass installations for 159 Manning this fall.
Adrienne just returned from a 5 day vacation in Los Angeles and took this picture for me while she was there.
Making a fortune teller vending machine is another major project for the next year I’m excited about. I’m planning a series of 5 different fortune tellers and will sell 4 of them when they’re finished.
