Budd Cupp 2012

As tradition dictates, I played in the 6th annual Budd Cupp (yes I think there should be 2 p’s) Charity Dodgeball Tournament on Saturday afternoon!

Our team, Dodge Save The Queen, played a total of 7 games yesterday afternoon, 20 minutes each, to beat out 5 other teams and won the championship!!!

In addition to the real Budd Cupp, everyone on our team each won a mini-tropy, and we took turns doing shots of champagne from them to celebrate our victory!

I’ve been listening to this record, and hanging out in my basement a lot this past week.

I’m Your Man

I made my national television debut last Thursday in a sketch on the George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight show! I was wearing Mike Nelson’s MRCH-108 t-shirt (which is a super-secret-exclusive-Sloan-family-only design) and my Biggie Jacket (which is down-filled and for which I paid only $10, in Kensington Market 3 years ago), and my lines were about buying giant condoms and kinky porn mags!

Attention Film Directors and Casting Agents: the Strombo season ends at the beginning of June. If you’re casting for an attractive grumpy-yet-charming misanthropic male lead in a comedy, and aren’t shooting until the summer, keep me in mind! Angry and depressed can be funny, right?
